What can you do starting today to get ahead of your goals for the year?
Let’s face it, every new year we make goals and are really passionate about them for about a month or two, then we forget, life gets busy or other pressing things come up. It’s no one’s fault, it’s called life!
This blog is to encourage you to finish your goals for the year, take a step back, reflect and imagine how you can be better by the end of the month. It doesn’t have to be a monumental, life altering change but what is something you can do to come closer to completing your yearly goal? Maybe, your goal was to workout more, then for the next 31 days make it your priority to exercise at least 2-3 days out of the week. Maybe, it was saving more money, then for the next 31 days make it a priority to save a little each week.
All it takes to become better is to complete the little things in life, each small task completed is a task that is contributing to the bigger picture. Complete enough of these small tasks and you will have completed a big task! I relate this to my patients who want to get better, all it takes is to complete each task you’re given, big or small and it all adds up to being better in the end.
